US Market Timings in IST After Daylight Saving: Full Schedule for Indian Crypto Traders 2026

Sunday morning, while most of India was asleep, the United Kingdom and most of Europe wound their clocks back by one hour. British Summer Time ended at 2 AM London local on Sunday 25 October 2026. The UK is now on Greenwich Mean Time. Six days from now, on 1 November, the United States will do the same.

India does not observe daylight saving. We stay at IST (UTC+5:30) all year. But the markets we trade — the London Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange — shift their IST timings twice a year because of DST. This blog gives you the full US market timings in IST after daylight saving, so you can update your calendars and trading alerts in one go.
If you trade crypto on Delta Exchange India, Deribit, Binance, or any other platform, this matters. The London close you have been watching at 9:00 PM IST is now 10:00 PM IST. Your 7:00 PM IST NYSE open is correct until Saturday night. From Monday 2 November, it becomes 8:00 PM IST.
Save this blog. Update your calendars. Come back to it in March 2027 when DST starts again.
What is Daylight Saving Time
Daylight Saving Time is the practice of moving the clock forward by one hour in spring and backward by one hour in autumn. Europe ends DST on the last Sunday of October (25 October this year). The United States ends DST on the first Sunday of November (1 November this year). India has never observed DST — our clocks stay the same all year.
When London or New York changes their clocks, the IST time of their market open and close shifts by one hour.
US Market Timings in IST After Daylight Saving — Full Schedule
Here are the exact US market timings in IST after daylight saving, broken down by exchange. Both the London Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange run on local time at their home city, so the IST equivalent shifts whenever their clocks change.
London Stock Exchange — IST schedule
The London Stock Exchange runs regular trading from 08:00 to 16:30 London local time.

Before 25 October 2026 | 12:30 PM IST | 9:00 PM IST |
From 25 October onwards | 1:30 PM IST | 10:00 PM IST |
London open shifted from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM IST. London close shifted from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. One hour later across the board.
New York Stock Exchange — IST schedule
The New York Stock Exchange runs regular trading from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
Open | Close | |
Now (until 31 October) | 7:00 PM IST | 1:30 AM IST |

From 1 November, NYSE open shifts from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM IST. NYSE close shifts from 1:30 AM to 2:30 AM IST. One hour later.
What does not change
Two things remain the same, regardless of DST. These are your hard reference points as an Indian crypto trader.
Deribit weekly options expiry: 1:30 PM IST every Friday. Deribit uses UTC, which has no DST. The time never shifts.
Delta Exchange India daily settlement: 5:30 PM IST every day. This is set in IST, so it also never shifts.
What you need to do
The London change already happened on 25 October. Your London session timings in IST are already different from last week.
The US change happens on 1 November. Update your calendar reminders, trading alerts, and any TradingView session highlighters you use. NYSE open moves to 8:00 PM IST and NYSE close moves to 2:30 AM IST. The complete US market timings in IST after daylight saving sit in the table above — bookmark it.
The next DST change will be in March 2027 when both Europe and the US move clocks forward for summer. Come back to this blog then — the schedule will shift the other way.
